I'm trying to write out a character history for a role playing game that I've recently joined, but every time I actually get it down on paper I feel like it's stupid, trite, and poorly written.

So I erase it, and start again. I feel better about this draft. It's definitely better. Yes. Definitely. Except. Well, maybe. I don't know.

Trite. Stupid. Poorly written.

Erase, repeat.

Maybe I just need a huge dose of caffeine. I'm going to go make some coffee, and we'll see what that does for me.
