Umm....ya know? I just realized that it's 2005. Just now. Like, the thought hadn't even occurred to me at all.

Just thought I'd share...

I'm weirded out now, for some reason.

I even had a NYE party, but it didn't really sink in until I wrote out my rent check and had to think about the year.

I think my problem is that this is the first year in quite some time that I didn't celebrate New Year's Eve in any way what-so-ever. Maria (my loving girlfriend) and I stayed home with our "puppy" Won Ton because of his recent surgery, and at Midnight we kissed.

That was it. No alcohol, no watching the ball drop, and no friends around us to celebrate the new year.

I think next year I have to throw my own party, get a lot of people over, and really ~ring in~ 2006. Because, as everyone knows, 2006 is going to be the year to party!
