Oh, yes, in other news:

The D&D game I play in over at Derek's ended tonight. My character died a hero, willingly giving his life to save the world, as he would want. (Well, actually he just wanted to be remembered as a hero, but hey, you take what you can get.)

It was an extremely well run game, with a fantastic ending. Thank you, Derek, for the opportunity of playing in your game.

I found a fantastic text generator, here. This is what I got from it:
Thunder, thunder, thundercats, Ho! Thundercats are on the move, Thundercats are loose. Feel the magic, hear the roar, Thundercats are loose. Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thundercats!

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy. Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye. He's got style, a groovy style, and a car that just won't stop. When the going gets tough, he's really rough, with a Hong Kong Phooey chop (Hi-Ya!). Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy. Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye. Hong Kong Phooey, he's fan-riffic!

Top Cat! The most effectual Top Cat! Who's intellectual close friends get to call him T.C., providing it's with dignity. Top Cat! The indisputable leader of the gang. He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship. He's the most tip top, Top Cat.

Jobage.

I start tonight. I'm a bit more excited than I probably should be, considering what the job entails, and the hours I will be working. However, it's been a while since I could say that I was gainfully employed in a full-time situation.

This job has the possibility of becoming permanent (I'm going through a temp agency right now) and probably will, from what I hear. I'm hoping it happens soon so that I can actually get some health insurance for the first time in four years, and I can go get myself a check-up or three.

Unfortunately, this means that my life is going to become quite mundane for a while. No more D&D games during the week, no more going out to fantastic dinners during the week, and no more sitting around home doing absolutely nothing.

That last one is a good thing to not be doing.

So, if anyone needs to contact me, I'll be working from six at night until two thirty in the morning. I will probably be asleep from roughly three in the morning until ten, eleven, or noon, depending on my mood. Plan for noon. I'm lazy.

What this also means is that my weekends are going to be packed. I'm going to try to get another D&D game going, as well as attend my local Dagorhir (fighting group) practice. Then, on Sundays, we eat at my wonderful girlfriend Maria's parent's house. I want to do stuff during the day or evening on Sundays, pack it full if possible. I like to just get together with friends, you know?

Busy, busy, busy. But at least I'm making money again.
