Tomorrow we have a meet'n'greet scheduled between our dog, Wonton, and a dog at the SPCA whose name is (temporarily) Gracie. She's a two-year-old Akita mix, pure white with what seems to be the sweetest temperment. Of course, as has happened three times now, this means that Wonton and she will not get along. That's okay though, it's good to try.

In other news, I'll be running a D&D game this weekend. That might not sound like much, but with everything going on it'll be my first time DM'ing in over a month! It's almost like starting over, except that they'll be using characters they had from a while ago.

I really want to get into making my own Live Action Role Playing game. I have a name, and some basic rules, but the truth of the matter is that I don't have the start-up capital. Without the cash, I'm out of the running to get it started. I guess I'm going to make that one of my goals.

Since it's on my mind, lets make this into a "Goal Post." (See? It's almost funny!)

Goals:
1. Lose ten pounds. I want to start small. If I can lose ten, I can lose ten more, but let's start with just ten first and work from there.
~To do this I need to excersize. Duh. I need to get back into the habit of doing Dance Dance Revolution, and walking the dog, as well as a few other things. See, I can't do regular work-outs, like riding a stationary bike or jogging on a tread-mill as they're too boring. I need to be able to have fun, so that's the way I'm going to work this. I also need to eat less. I'll start on both tonight.

2. Gain strength in my upper arms, specifically my pecs and biceps. I am pathetically weak in my upper body, especially for my size. Lifting and carrying the kitchen items to and from the cabin while I camped this week really showed me how bad I am, and I need to change this if I want to be where I want to be, physically, in a year.
~The only way to do this is to work-out, yet again. While I sit watching tv, I will start using the small weights that we have, doing lifts and all that good stuff. Again, start small, and work my way up.

3. Save >$100 by the end of July. I have some great need for this money, but I can't talk about it here, yet.
~This is going to be a very difficult one, as I'm in debt to Maria for helping me buy the food and stuff for camping last week, though she's being nice enough to not hold me accountable for the items I brought back that we eat. I'm also going camping in Ohio next weekend, which is going to cost me a big chunk of change. I'm going to have to work really hard to find a way to get and save this money. Maybe a part-time job?

4. Write. I don't care what, I just want to get back into the habit of writing.
~The only way to do this is to write. Starting tomorrow, I want to write 500 words a day. Doesn't sound like a lot, but if I'm not specifically thinking about it, it's going to be difficult. Maybe I'll try to write a small novel, or something. I'm not expecting to be good, at first, but that's why I'm making this goal: I want to be good, eventually if not now. Let's see where this goes.

With that all in mind, let's see where this all goes.
