This just in. In a very sweeping and general statement today, Jeremiah Fargo may have stopped his entire bid to become famous. Unconfirmed sources report that at his impromptu press meeting, Jeremiah was heard to mutter the phrase "I hate people."

So far, the speculation has been high. Does Jeremiah, in fact, hate people? What about his fans? Are they included in this sweepingly ignominious statement?

We go now to the steps of Jeremiah's front porch, where it's said he is about to make a statement. Joan?

Yes, Bob, the murmuring of the crowd has calmed down in the past hour or so after Jeremiah's wonderful girlfriend Maria came out to tell everyone that Jeremiah would be coming out to explain his, so far unconfirmed, statement. Apparently, he wanted to come out earlier, but she was making him clean the house.

The crowd seems to be getting a bit upset, however, at having had to wait for over a...There he is! The door is opening, and Jeremiah is coming out. A hush has fallen over the crowd. He's starting to talk!

"*ahem* Um, hi! I guess you're all here because you're wondering about what I said earlier? About having everyone, or something like that? Yeah, um, I guess I said it. I didn't really mean it though. I don't hate everyone or anything. I just hate the whites. Thanks! *slamming door*"
