Friday Five With Something Afterwards

1. Name someone dead that you'd like to have drinks with:
~Jesus. We could drink all night, and only order waters! (No...seriously....)

2. What's your favorite scary movie?
~I really liked Signs for its use of silence as opposed to most scary movies use of intense song.

3. After you've passed away, who will say the nicest things about you?
~If I were to pass away right now? I'm not sure any of my friends would stand up and really say anything about me, but I'm sure they'd all be thinking nice things at least. Maria's thoughts, I guess, would be the nicest. Or at least the most informed. :)

4. What did you think of Peter Jennings?
~Didn't know the man, personally.

5. Name a Grateful Dead song:
~Off the top of my head? "I Will Survive" comes to mind. Was that even by them?

Today we're doing lunch with Laura at Jack Astor's in the mall. It's sort of a "saying goodbye" lunch, since tomorrow she heads back out to college in good ol' Michigan. She'll definately be missed while she's gone, but I'm happy that she'll be coming back for a while in the Winter, and then after school is done I'm happy to announce that she will be moving back into this area! Yay!

We finally got to see our friends Derek, Earl, and Kath's apartment! (Amy also lives there, but I think of her as Derek's sister more than "our friend." Perhaps somewhere down the line this will change, but we just don't know her yet.) The apartment is really nice and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to kind of sprawl out into their own space. I hope it all works out with them, and that everyone stays happy.
