Friday Five, and a Small Update

1. What kind of lighting is around you?
~Natural lighting. I'm in the den, which has a very large sliding glass door, so the sunlight filters nicely through the entire room.

2. What do you think of your singing voice?
~I like my singing voice. Unfortunately, it's best suited to boy-band type songs.

3. Who do you try to please?
~Myself, Maria, my friends that aren't Maria. Pretty much in that order, because I'm a selfish bastard, but I honestly think that if we're being completely honest with ourselves, most people would put themselves first to this question. theferrett had an interesting article on something similar, but I can't find it right now, unfortunately.

4. Describe your last dream:
~Someone, dressed in night's shadows, stood over my bed, peering down at me with dark eyes. I jerked back violently, ready to lash out, and woke up when my back smacked into Maria. I spent most of the night convincing myself it was a dream, because when I hit Maria with my back, I looked, and the shadow man was gone.

5. When is the last time you bought flowers?
~Mother's Day. I'm just not a flowers kind of guy, though I should be.

Feeling mostly better, but I had my dog Mai Tai. She woke me up at 6:30am to go outside, and did nothing when out there. Then 9:30am, and then 10:30am. Guess why I'm downstairs right now at 11:30am? Yup, her. At least she needed to go outside this time, if you get my drift.

Thinking I'm going to wait for Maria to get up, and then I'm going back to bed. Either that or I'm going to go crash on the couch for a while, but I hate sleeping on that thing. It's so uncomfortable.

As a brief aside, thank you to everyone for your well wishes yesterday. I was feeling increadibly crappy, and the multitude of "get wells" that I got gave me a smile. Thanks.

Well, maybe I'll give going back to bed a try. It's not so bad, considering I went to bed around 4:30 this morning, and had been sick all day yesterday.

Yeah. Sleep sounds good.
