Zombie Apocalypse? No Problem: One
Oct. 24th, 2005 09:50 pmThe purpose of writing this documentation is to assist in the possibility of survival when the final days are upon us, and the Zombie Apocalypse has begun. My goal is an informed and readied public, since there could, quite possibly, be no greater threat to the nations than the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse. If the public is not prepared for what is to come, only chaos and destruction will reign, as opposed to the potential success of our defense. I plan on surviving, and do not want to be alone in the aftermath.
It is my intention that I disseminate what knowledge I have to the general public via livejournal and actual face-to-face contact. Through this knowledge, the chances of survival and success for the human race will increase. These things take time, but are worth the time and effort that I will put forth. Hopefully, I will not be the only voice in the night getting this information out into the aether. If I am the lone voice preaching survival, I shall continue to do so despite the seeming futility.
My sources are my own, and some include simple speculation, but when possible I will attempt to back up everything I say with cold hard fact. While I believe my information to be reliable, the thoughts, information, and ideas here-in are not intended to be considered the final word on this subject. Part of my goal is to get people interested in this subject, thus pushing them to find more sources, such as the Zombie Survival Guide. Adaptibility to change is essential, and unfortunately one of the few skills that cannot be taught by simple words written on the internet. Of course, this point aside, I will still attempt to do so, and I hope that other sources of information also help to mature this skill in others.
I will attempt to post my thoughts on this matter every Monday in the evening, but the time might be very mutable, and thus could post close enough to Tuesday morning as to make no difference. If I miss a date, it is not because the Zombie Apocalypse has begun (I'm assuming), but instead because I have simply lost time to do it. I will attempt to write a post as soon as possible in these circumstances. The true grit of these posts, the actual information, will begin next week, October 31st, and I will be speaking on the matter of ranked importance of subjects. It will outline the first most important information, as well as an outline of the next few writings that I will post. I did not purposely place this date on Halloween, I swear. I do find this decision interesting, though.
I hope to get a positive feedback on this project, and hope to engage my reader's attention. All my desire to educate the public aside, I also desire to please and entertain my readers. I appreciate all feedback, especially those things that suggest ways to increase interest in my writing, be it style, choice of words, or something as shattering as topic. Please, as this progresses, let me know your thoughts.
Thank you. I look forward to sharing what I know with all of you.
