Life
Quickfire!
I've lost weight.
I still don't have a job.
I've started playing Dark and Shattered Lands again!
My dogs are insane!
The weather is absolutely nuts, it's 52 degrees outside right now!
The house is a mess!
I bought Maria flowers last week, and they're still pretty.
That's it!
Business
Question:
Can anyone tell me of a successful semi-national chain of gaming stores here in the United States, or even in Canada? I am attempting to write a business proposal, and in order to show that my idea is plausible, it would be easiest to find an existing, similar (yet different) business model to base it off of.
I'm looking for something with multiple stores, and it has to actually make money. Many gaming stores out there are little dingy affairs, barely supported by customers that come in, look around, and walk out. So, if you know one that's actually successful, based on money and repeat business, I would love to know about it.
Does one even exist? If not, maybe I have a different idea...
Friday Five
1. What do you normally eat for breakfast?
~If I have breakfast, which is relatively rare these days, it's usually a few eggs, over easy, or in omelette form, with toast, and if I'm very lucky I add a few strips of bacon. It's not the healthiest breakfast in the world, but sometimes you have to go for satisfaction.
2. Are you more likely to drink coffee or tea?
~If I have the good creamers, which would be any basic flavored creamer, then coffee. Without that, I'd be much more likely to enjoy a nice cup of tea or two. Not as much caffeine, but very pleasant.
3. Would you consider yourself a good cook?
~I would most definately consider myself a good cook. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but when I worked as a cook at Friendly's I learned to make really good breakfasts, and then cooking on my own I have unlocked the secrets to making dinner and lunch as well. Okay, not the secrets, but the basics.
4. What is your favorite meal?
~Lasagna made with my family's spaghetti sauce. Not many people outside of my family seem to enjoy our sauce nearly as much as we do, but that's okay, we know it'll be world famous some day!
5. Green eggs and ham: would you eat it?
~I don't see why not, but instead of food coloring, why not just use green pigs?
