Kryptonite

I love getting emails, conversing via livejournal, commenting to witty essays, and generally just chatting with people. Absolutely love it. I might even go so far as to use the word adore, but I wouldn't want to get ahead of myself and say something I might regret later.

Because I love this, I tend to comment a lot, both on other journals and my own. I write whatever pops into my head about whatever subject person x is talking about today because while that topic might not be the most interesting thing in the world, it could make a nice conversation.

Here's the thing: The people that I read don't write enough. Sure, they write a lot of really interesting stuff, and it's great, but for someone working from home with lots of free time the volume just isn't there. Between each call I transcribe I eagerly hit the "refresh" button on livejournal, waiting for that next bit of wit, intelligence, or thoughtfulness. Usually there's nothing, but every now and then I've timed it right and I'm entertained.

To help me in my quest of "being entertained" I've started adding interesting, intelligent people to my friends list. The problem I'm having is sussing out who, exactly, I should be reading.

This is where you come in.

I've done it before, but I'll do it again, I'll ask you all:

Who should I be reading in livejournal land? Name one person, five people, twenty, I don't care, just tell me what draws you to their writing and why you think I would enjoy it.

Help a guy out?
