FOOD PARTY!
Sep. 4th, 2006 09:53 amYesterday was a smashing success with friends and family coming from all over to enjoy our hospitatlity and food, and we even got some gifts! We were "registered" at your local dollar store, and Maria's relatives got really into the spirit of that, it was awesomely funny. My favorite part was opening cards from the DiPasquale family and each one had an entry form from the Family Dollar to possibly with a $5,000 vacation tucked inside like you would do money. Awesome and funny, I thought.
Here's the rub: roughly 16-20 people that were invited simply didn't show up, and we have a LOT of left-over food.
So, today? Maria and I aren't really doing anything, it's a holiday, and we have way more food than we could eat in a week. Come over for some food! Party "starts" at noon, and goes on until we go to bed! Yay food!
We have a pasta bake, salad, pulled pork sandwiches, fried rice with chicken, nacho chip dip, and Duff's wings!
Come on over folks, and enjoy some food and our company!
