(no subject)

There is a patio being created in my backyard right now where three days ago there was a large hole filled with water that was pouring into my basement. My only fear is that somehow, in some way, this concrete will flood into the basement. Yes, I know it's not possible, but for some reason I keep seeing my basement filled with concrete, the builders scratching their head in wonder, "Where the hell is it all going? We just pour and pour, and none of it stays!"
