Day Off

6 days of the week, I worked. I've finished nearly 6000 records so far this month, and would do more today, but Sundays we get a total of about 5 records. This is good, because I could use a day off.

See, I need a day off so that I can bring Maria shoe shopping, wash the dishes, repot the tomato plant (it's in a spot of the garden that gets almost zero sun, which is bad), plant beans in my garden, mow the yard, and generally tidy the house.

It sure is nice to have a day of rest, isn't it?

I'll let you know when I get one.

(Despite the overall potentially whiny tone, I am in a good mood. It's all good.)

Cooks!

Okay, you guys are usually awesome help with recipes, so here's another request for assistance:

Zucchini.

Normally, I'd just steam it, or coat it with some flour and fry it. I LOVE fried zucchini.

The problem this time is that I have roughly 5 lbs of zucchini I bought at the farmer's market for $1. Even though it was inexpensive, I'd rather it didn't go to waste.

Any thoughts?

TMI, you have been warned. This means if you don't want to picture me naked (too late), you shouldn't read any more, even though this disclaimer is in fact LONGER than what I'll be writing below here. So, stop reading now.

Am I the only male on the Earth who feels like he gets a high dosage of caffeine from really good sex? Wide awake now.

While I'm thinking about it, because it's 11:36 PM and I'm wide awake, I should write a quick to do list for myself for tomorrow. Some interesting stuff going on. New projects, reviving old projects, and general life stuff.

To Do:

  • Mow the lawn

  • Edit pictures for restart of The Pooch Page (LJ RSS)

  • Water sod

  • Water repotted tomato plants and newly planted bean plants

  • Finish 500+ records for work

  • Do day one of Couch to 5k

  • Finish all dishes

  • Begin outline of business plan for restart of LARP USA

A couple (one in particular) of big things on the list for tomorrow.

I'm really feeling good about things. Things are changing, and moving in the right direction. Let's hope that keeps up.

Also, if anybody has US$5,000,000 or so, I'd still like to build a castle bed and breakfast some day.

Thanks!
