jmfargoI have started a rough draft on a zombie book! This excites me very much, and gets me hopeful for the future because we all know that the Zombie Apocalypse is more than just serious business, like the internet, it is also a topic that enthralls the masses, making us into slobbering zombies who will do anything to sink our juicy brains into the teeth of the genre.
Or something like that, I may have it backwards, I never can remember because I try not to think like a zombie, but like a Survivor instead.
So - what the hell do I do? Do I get an agent to help me promote the book? Do I get an editor first? Do I go to one of those "print it yourself and save the hassle of those companies and silly things that do nothing but cost you money when in reality they might help you make money because they know about things about marketing and the like?"
I know I have a few published authors out there, and also some very intelligent people that have given me advice in the past that I have, unfortunately, set aside as I realized my tasks previous to this weren't doable at my current level. This project? Completely doable, and I'm really really excited.
Once the book becomes overwhelmingly popular (like, I sell 50, that's popular, right?) I will go on to make my camp because I'll have some weight behind my name! Like...social weight...not fat weight.
