New Me, Day 3 and some other stuff
Jan. 19th, 2005 06:47 pmHad a nice bowl of stew for dinner tonight, along with some garlic toast. Very tasty, and surprisingly healthy considering the worst thing was the beef in the stew, and then it was all veggies. I think that's pretty cool.
Lunch was a sandwich and Spaghetti-O's (with meatballs), which is better than my usual minimum of two sandwiches with Spaghetti-O's (and meatballs!).
No breakfast. I don't normally do breakfast.
Drank a lot of water, and some good juice to keep me up with vitamins and what-not.
Maria stayed home from work today, the poor girl had a fever of around 102. I have a lesser fever at 100, but I don't really feel it, so that left me keeping her happy. An easy job, I'll admit, because she slept most of the day on the couch. She's still doing that, as a matter of fact.
Tomorrow is my interview (non-job-related) with Disney. I have no idea what to wear, or what questions they'll be asking, but I hope it goes well. I'm realizing as I write that many reading this probably have no clue what the hell I'm talking about.
Let me explain. No, it is too much, let me sum up:
I'm part of a game where grown adults dress up and beat on each other with fake weapons. As part of this game, I joined a group based loosely off of C.S. Lewis' Narnia. (Our website can be found here.)
Now, Disney is making a series of movies based off of those books, and our little group caught their eye. We are being interviewed, taped, and then filmed durning a feast that Narnia is hosting on the 22nd. We are going to be in a bonus disc called "The Essential Narnia," and hopefully more will come from this, though there's nothing definate.
I'm really pumped about this, but nervous about the interview as well. I have ~no clue~ what kind of questions to expect. I'm mostly wondering if it's a quick "Okay, give us your name. Thanks. Next!" or something that could, potentially, go on for quite some time. Probably something between the two.
Okay, time to go give Maria some meds and what-not. I'll be around!
