I haven't mentioned this because I don't want to get crazy about this and bore everyone like I could while I go on and on and on about this thing that's super exciting to me but kind of 'blah' to most people, but since it's so important to me I thought I should say something:

I now have a business with a NYS License and everything to do business. It's official, finally! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be too, which is cool, because who knows, if this does well then maybe my other ideas will come to fruition.

I'm not quite ready to unveil the business yet, but in a very short time I'll have it up and running and ready for perusal. Right now I'm waiting for a few things to come from the bank so I can make purchases, get things moving along, and be ready to Sell, Sell, Sell!

Yeah, I'm super excited and pumped about this, and it couldn't have happened at a better time really.

Just thought I'd share.

I have 6-7 pages of printed notes for my Dungeons and Dragons game tonight, even a full "module," if you will. I figure it'll take about 4 hours to get through, which is perfect since my game is 4 hours long every week on Monday nights. With adding in a new person tonight and actually getting to the adventures I have planned I think I can just about fit it all in where it'll have a good beginning, a high-adventure middle, and a short but satisfying ending for the night, a good place to leave off.

That is, of course, if it ever actually gets that far.

See, I've written this out, made maps, planned descriptions and even sound affects, but if the players decide they want to hang out in the town and not do what they're told then for now it all means absolutely nothing. I try not to railroad* my players and if they decided that objective x is more important than what they're going to be asked to do by figures of importance, then that's up to them.

I guess we'll see how it goes. I know I'm looking forward to challenging my players tonight with a good old fashioned tunnel crawl, but hey, maybe I'll have to improvise something and it'll be known as "the best game ever!"

Hell, their favorite campaign so far is one that ran about 3 months that I never ever prepped a single game for, and always just flew by the seat of my pants.

Here goes nothing!

*For those that don't play D&D or just don't know the lingo, "railroading" is when the person who comes up with the storyline tells the players what they do instead of gently leading them to it, or something like that. It's called railroading because the DM puts the players on a set of tracks they can't ever get off of to go do what they want.
