Okay, I've started making an in character journal for my character in Derek's Dungeons and Dragons game, and it can be found here. There's nothing in it yet, except in the user info, sorry about that. I'll probably work on it tonight.
There is also DM's Pride, which has even less in it right now. This is going to be my DM journal, which will be both in character from the eyes of the NPCs, and out of character with notes on what went wrong, what went right, things along those lines.
Just thought I'd let those that are interested know that I'm working on it! :)
EDIT: Fixed a link and made the entry look better.

Date: 2005-11-04 08:55 pm (UTC)In character journal for a game you're playing in - cool, though as someone who is not IN the campaign, nor ever seen it, I don't know how much I would read it. For someone IN the game, it should be both entertaining and informative.
In character(s) journal for a game which you DM? I'm not sure if it is as good an idea. Why? First, you don't always know what your players have picked up on, and what they missed. By making a journal like that, you give the players unprecidented insight into the game. If you don't mind that, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but beware of letting too many secrets out that way.
I'd write more, but I must be off to do things...

I appreciate your thoughts, and will keep them in mind. Please tell me more as it comes to you. :)
