I still have this on a 45, does that make me old? I also have the Beach Boys, and a couple of the Beetle's songs on 45's as well.

What's a 45?

Most of them (Beach Boys, Beetles, etc.) were given to me by my parents, but I have a few from story/song-books from when I was a kid. "Puff the Magic Dragon," happens to be one, along with, "Snoopy vs. the Red Baron" bit. I think I've got a Charlie Brown one on something, but I'd have to look. I keep them around more for novelty than anything.

*nods* Good to keep around, honestly. I mean, sure it makes you seem older than you are (or at least I think they do), but eventually they'll have sentimental value, if not actual value.

I like Snoopy vs. the Red Baron. I wish I had it here. I think I might just have to find a CD with that on it!

Yes, I was around for the end period of 45's. I was born in '75 so records were becoming big then.

But as far as sentimental value, one of the things I keep with me still is a black t-shirt I had when I was in 1st or 2nd grade. It has an iron-on decal of a corvette with a totally 80's flair to it. I remember getting it and thinking I could do anything because of that shirt. I still keep it in my dresser drawer as a reminder that I still can do anything.
