Painting

Today my friend Kath is coming over to help me finish (start) painting the upstairs bathroom as a Christmas gift to me and my lovely assistant (girlfriend) Maria. She might be bringing her boyfriend (and my friend) Derek, but I'm not sure.

This bathroom project has been on my list for at least three months now, and for some reason I balk at it every time I start. I seem to make sure that something comes up whenever I start working in there, be it that really important OTHER thing I forgot to do, or whatever. I just can't make headway on this by myself, which is why I really appreciate that Kath is coming over to help.

First we have to scrape the remaining wallpaper from the walls (as opposed to from the floor). Then there's just a short way from there to being done. Sand the walls, clean the walls, tape off the stuff we don't want painted, and paint.

See? Almost done already!

I think I forgot to go do something really important. Can't start the walls right now...

Gee, it's a really good thing that Kath is coming over.

Be careful you don't break out in a spontaneous game of D&D. If Earl were going to be there to help too, then I'd know you weren't going to get any work done!

Now, if only Maria were home we could REALLY get some stuff done. They all need to finish this quest they're on so we can advance the story-line!
