I'm removing the stuff from this post that was worry-inducing drama that I really shouldn't have bothered writing in the first place. I just need a place to put down a plan for the week, and this happens to be it. The long and short of it is that we have $15 left in the food budget for the next couple of weeks, so I'm trying to make do with what we have. Not a big deal, and we have credit if things go bad, but I want to make the budget work. So, I'm just making a list of what we're going to do for the next week. That way I can figure out what we still have on hand when the week is done and where to go from there.

No worries, we'll be fine.

Sunday:
Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch - Pulled pork sandwiches
Dinner - Homemade pizza

Monday:
Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch - Bagel pizzas
Dinner - Chicken stir fry

Tuesday:
Breakfast - Eggs
Lunch - Stir fry leftovers
Dinner - Pasta

Wednesday:
Breakfast - Granola bars
Lunch - Pasta leftovers
Dinner - Roasted chicken

Thursday:
Breakfast - Eggs
Lunch - Chicken leftovers
Dinner - Pasta

Friday:
Breakfast - Granola bars
Lunch - Pasta leftovers
Dinner - Hot Dogs

Saturday:
Breakfast - Bagels
Lunch - Hot Dogs
Dinner - Eating at friend's house, bringing hot dogs

I applaud you for writing it out, and then choosing to banish the worry! What good is it to dwell? I find that INSPIRING. I have NO DOUBTS that you will be better than fine! :-)

Also, kudos to you for the foresight to meal plan, it sounds healthy and smart to me!

Sometimes I have to stop myself from posting after I reread what I wrote because I realize I'm just pouring out words that make things seem SO much worse than they really are. I don't want people to worry, and all I'm really doing is psyching myself out and worrying about stuff that's not going to be a big deal. This is one of the big reasons I always look back at what I wrote when I'm not in a great mood before hitting post. It's saved me a lot of unnecessary worry from friends and family.

For this week, it's already not going exactly as I wrote out (Maria doesn't trust my pizza-making skills), but in general it's working just fine. Should be good. Then I can spend my $15 on flour and make lots of bread, or something. Yay bread! :)

"No worries, we'll be fine."

Those kinds of statements make people worry more ;)
