Time to Walk Like A Duck

Ouch.

This weekend, I went into the woods, got dressed up in cool make-ups, beat on people with padded sticks, and was beat up in return.

It was awesome.

My legs are sorer than they've been in a long time, and my back hurts a bit. My arms feel week from overuse. The only thing that doesn't ache in some regard is my hair, and I'm not so sure about that.

Did I mention it was awesome?

I'll be going back to Xanodria again, in 5 weeks. Some of you said you might think about going some time: Think about it, please. The first 3 times you NPC are absolutely free, and they feed you! (They feed you well, too.)

I'll be writing more over at my Dreamwidth account, but here the message I wanted to get across is as follows:

1. I'm sore
2. I'm happy
3. I really need to get in shape so I can do this without being sore, and just be happy.

LOL! That's hillarious! No, no... I was down at Triumph LARP. Which I'd love to have you come down to play some time, but... yeah. Distance. Although we have people coming down from Wisconsin once a month, so I'm not 100% positive you'd be the one with the furthest drive. :-P

As for the name, I seem to be mistaken for women (or vice versa) quite a bit. I used the same icon (black-ops Boo) when I joined the Triumph forums (before I started playing), and for several months before they met me, the entire player populace just assumed I was female because of the name and the "Teddy Bear" icon.

Can't get the time off of work for Rag. A weekend, 2 hours away? No problem. A week, 9 hours away? Just can't do it. Maybe next year, when Maria has more vacation, and we can go together.
