Monsterous Morning

At 4:17 this morning, Monster yowled in fear. I turned on the light and jumped out of bed before even waking up to the point where I knew why I was getting out of bed. Good to know my zombie training hasn't been wasted.
She seemed fine, just a little nervous and tired. I'm guessing it was a bad dream. Since I was up anyway I let the girls out back for their morning rounds, and then headed back to bed.
At 6:30 my wife called me back into the bedroom (I got up at 6) because she thought Monster had thrown up. In fact, she had.
Hopefully the rest of Monster's day is better. That way the rest of MY day will be better as well.
May your day be better than Monster's morning.

Date: 2008-12-22 03:18 pm (UTC)Rice isn't so much a treat as it is something we make for them when they have upset tummies. We give all three of our girls Natural Balance Potato and Duck. It's not as good as making it for them from fresh ingredients, but it's one of the better store-bought kinds.
Also, since we're pretty sure Monster has a meat allergy (OESs are known for them), the duck is good since it's so different. No way I'm buying duck to cook for her every night. I don't eat that well! :)
